Safety Features
- SmoothStart – On acceleration, power is applied to the drive tires in a controlled manner ensuring a smooth start each time.
- HillSense – Allows the cart to be safely used on inclines and declines. The cart will travel at the speed set by the user, not by the incline or decline.
- AutoLock – An automatic parking brake locks the wheels when the throttle is not being applied. This feature prevents the cart from rolling away from the user and also provides easy loading and unloading on inclines and declines.
- Emergency Stop – The red E-Stop button allows the user to immediately stop the progress of the cart.
- Four Wheel Design – All Overland Carts have at least four wheels to provide maximum stability.
- Overload Fuse – There is a built in overload fuse that measures the inputs of the drive system in real time. If the incline, load, or terrain begins to overwork the motor, a fuse will stop the cart and prevent any damage to the transaxle.
- Throttle Controlled Braking – The braking is controlled by the throttle, simply let up on the throttle and the cart will slow down to the desired speed. To brake is automatically applied.
- Throttle Defaults to Zero MPH – If the throttle is released for any reason, the throttle will automatically return to the zero MPH position and the cart will safely coast to a stop. AutoLock will then engage and the cart will be secure.
- No open gears, belts, or hot components – The design of the cart keeps hands safe and prevents possible burns caused by hot engine components.

- 13″ Flat Free Dual Ag Tires – Our best performing and most popular tire. The dual ag design works well for all applications, especially where maximum traction is desired. The semi-pneumatic tire features a thick molded outer core with a hollow center. The tires do not require inflation and cannot be punctured. The width from the tires is measured as 33″ from tire edge to tire edge when mounted on the cart.

The wagon looks like it has a lower center of gravity? Interested in getting gravel down an ATV trail that has both 15 degree downhills and 15 degree side hill slope. Which model would be best for this? Figure both 4WD and powered dump,are a must.
Hi Jeff, It sounds like our 4WD 9 Cubic Ft Wagon or 4WD 10 Cu Ft Wheelbarrow would both work for you. The 9 Cubic Ft Wagon would have a lower center of gravity and a lower load height. 15 Degrees is about the maximum incline we are comfortable operating the 4WD carts at. We would rate the 4WD at 200 lb – 300 lb at that incline. Possibly more depending on the terrain type (grass or hard surface) and length of incline. Are the handlebars capable of variable heights. Most mowers etc have bars about two inches low for me. I’m 6’2″ and hate bending.

Is the hopper metal or plastic? I want to move DG with it. The areas are not where the dump truck can access without taking lots of fencing down and upsetting the livestock. This machine looks perfect for the job….quiet and not big and scary. Low sides on the hopper also makes it easier to get the heavy DG into the tray. Also, if the tray needs replacement then you can ship those too?
Hi Terry, the hopper is made in the USA from high density polyethylene by Brentwood Industries. If you do need a replacement tray we do sell them individually. Will the cart still drive if the hydraulic bed is lifted?
For example, going backwards down a steep slope with the bed lifted to keep the dirt/gravel in the dump bed?
Yes, the unit can be moved with the hydraulic bed lifted, it can be be adjusted to a different height while moving the cart. Hi, Can the electric wheelbarrow be operated in the rain? Also, I’m considering using this in Maine, for barn chores. The barn is unheated. Will the cart be able to operate and retain a charge in sub-zero weather? Thanks much!
Hi Eric, yes our carts can be operated in light rain. The components are water resistant but not water proof so operating in heavy rain is not recommended. Once the cart is wet, just allow it dry out in a dry indoor space and you’ll be ready to go the next day! The cart can also be operated in sub zero conditions, but you will want to charge the cart indoors at room temp.
