Why do we charge sales tax?
The court case of South Dakota v. Wayfair Inc was decided on June 18, 2018 and made it legal for states to impose tax requirements for out of state vendors. Different states have different thresholds that need to be met before charging sales tax. Other states don’t charge sales tax. If you have a question about your state and the sales tax being charged or not being charged, please send us an email: support@graniteind.com
