Have a question about the item?
Which tires does this model come with?
All Power Dump models come standard with Dual Ag drive tires. The rear tires are 10″ flat free tires mounted to a swivel caster.
Is there a limit to making an uphill grade? I’ve got a large hillside garden that I would haul soil and compost up to.
Hi Eddie, inclines are challenging to predict based on terrain, load and angle. We rate our carts at 750 pounds on flat surfaces and 500 pounds on a 1:3 incline which is equal to about 18 degrees. Every cart comes with an overload fuse that measures the carts performance in real time so if the transaxle is being overworked the fuse will pop and need to be reset. At that point you can adjust the load. I hope that helps!
What is the ground clearance between the drive wheels?
Hi Rich, the lowest point is the bottom of the transaxle which is 4 inches off the ground.
Do you offer an extended warranty? It’s an expensive item to be out of warranty after only one year.
Hi Adam, unfortunately we do not offer an extended warranty at this time. As you have noted, the entire cart including all power components is under warranty for 1 year and the frame is under warranty for 3 years. We source the highest quality parts for our carts and do our best to offer extremely fair pricing, if there were to be a part that does fail for some reason. If you have any further questions regarding our components and reliability please feel free to contact us via email: support@graniteind.com or by phone: 877-447-2648.
In the video it shows the hopper bed being easily removed from the motorized frame. Do you have any other beds that can be installed on the frame? I am thinking it would be nice to have a flat bed that could be loaded with clay or stone pavers or bags of concrete . . .
Can these units be stored in a cold barn in the winter? & How will that affect operation?
