Overland 10 Cubic Foot Electric Powered Ride On Wheelbarrow
The Overland Ride On Cart incorporates a rugged platform for the user to stand on. NEW 2023 UPGRADES: 950W Motor and 39AH Removable Battery Pack. Also new for 2023 is a removeable battery pack with 39AH batteries, this new pack can to be swapped out in less than a minute. Each cart is powered by our time tested Overland Cart electric drive system. This means no maintenance, no emissions and no noise. Simply twist the throttle and haul away up to 400 pounds. Safety Features
- SmoothStart – On acceleration, power is applied to the drive tires in a controlled manner ensuring a smooth start each time.
- HillSense – Allows the cart to be safely used on inclines and declines. The cart will travel at the speed set by the user, not by the incline or decline.
- AutoLock – An automatic parking brake locks the wheels when the throttle is not being applied. This feature prevents the cart from rolling away from the user and also provides easy loading and unloading on inclines and declines.
- Emergency Stop – The red E-Stop button allows the user to immediately stop the progress of the cart.
- Four Wheel Design – All Overland Carts have at least four wheels to provide maximum stability.
- Overload Fuse – There is a built in overload fuse that measures the inputs of the drive system in real time. If the incline, load, or terrain begins to overwork the motor, a fuse will stop the cart and prevent any damage to the transaxle.
- Throttle Controlled Braking – The braking is controlled by the throttle, simply let up on the throttle and the cart will slow down to the desired speed. To brake is automatically applied.
- Throttle Defaults to Zero MPH – If the throttle is released for any reason, the throttle will automatically return to the zero MPH position and the cart will safely coast to a stop. AutoLock will then engage and the cart will be secure.
- No open gears, belts, or hot components – The design of the cart keeps hands safe and prevents possible burns caused by hot engine components.
- Tested Over Time – Overland Cart has been developing and building carts for 10 years. We know our carts and have developed them to be as safe as possible.

Have a question about the item?
What is the turning radius of the Overland Electric Powered Ride On Wheelbarrow with 10 Cu. Ft. Hopper?
Hi Nancy! Great question, the answer is 18 feet from curb to curb or a 9 foot radius. Please see this PDF that shows the turning radius: http://overlandcarts.com/pdfs/OverlandTurningRadius-RideOnCart.pdf Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!
Do you make a mosel with a seat onstead of standing?
Hi Robin, unfortunately we do not make a sit down version of the above cart. We do offer a sit down electric powered cart call our ShopHawk, but it has a much smaller hauling capacity: https://store.graniteind.com/product/overland-electric-powered-shophawk-power-cruiser
how far can you travel?
Hi James, we have not done long distance testing with our Overland Ride On Carts, but in our standard wheelbarrow testing with the same battery pack, our wheelbarrow lasted over 8 hours and went over 9 miles. If you have any additional questions, please let us know: 877-447-2648, email: support@graniteind.com
Is the hopper hydraulic? A close-up of the hopper controls (or a video in action) would be helpful.
Hi Scott, the hopper on this cart is not powered and does not use hydraulics. The cart dumps via a manual latch on the side. The cart is explained in more detail starting on page 19 of the manual: https://www.overlandcarts.com/pdfs/OverlandCartManual-4WD-RideOnCarts.pdf
Could a small metal stool be welded on for sitting after delivery?
Hi Gretchen, yes you could add a metal stool after delivery, all of the metal components are mild steel which allows for easy modification after purchase. We recommend standing for optimal operator safety. If have any follow up questions, please give us a call or send us an email: 877-447-2648 | support@graniteind.com
I am on a hillside property, what are the limits for climbing and/or descending with a load.
Hi Paul, The maximum incline for safely operating the cart is 18 degrees. The load rating is variable based on severity of the incline, length of the incline and the terrain of the incline. Factoring in the weight of the operator, I would say it could haul 100-250 lb up moderate inclines (up to 10 degrees). For more robust incline capacity, we recommend our 950 series: https://store.graniteind.com/product/overland-950-series-electric-wheelbarrow-10-cu-ft-hopper-with-flat-free-tires
If have any follow up questions, please give us a call or send us an email: 877-447-2648 | support@graniteind.com
Can it go reverse?
Yes, all Overland Power Carts have the ability to go in both forward and reverse directions.
Nvm, I found in the description that it can reverse. Can you switch to ag tires? Can hopper be replaced with flatbed? Do you offer the flatbed accessory?
We offer an all metal utility hopper that has removable sides which make it possible to make the cart into a flatbed: https://store.graniteind.com/product/overland-electric-powered-ride-cart-10-cu-ft-utility-hopper/ If you’d like to order the cart with dual ag tires, feel free to contact us: 877-447-2648 or via email: support@graniteind.com and we can help you with that.
