Safety Features

  • SmoothStart – On acceleration, power is applied to the drive tires in a controlled manner ensuring a smooth start each time.
  • HillSense – Allows the cart to be safely used on inclines and declines.  The cart will travel at the speed set by the user, not by the incline or decline.
  • AutoLock – An automatic parking brake locks the wheels when the throttle is not being applied.  This feature prevents the cart from rolling away from the user and also provides easy loading and unloading on inclines and declines.
  • Emergency Stop – The red E-Stop button allows the user to immediately stop the progress of the cart.
  • Four Wheel Design – All Overland Carts have at least four wheels to provide maximum stability.
  • Overload Fuse – There is a built in overload fuse that measures the inputs of the drive system in real time.  If the incline, load, or terrain begins to overwork the motor, a fuse will stop the cart and prevent any damage to the transaxle.
  • Throttle Controlled Braking – The braking is controlled by the throttle, simply let up on the throttle and the cart will slow down to the desired speed.  To brake is automatically applied.
  • Throttle Defaults to Zero MPH – If the throttle is released for any reason, the throttle will automatically return to the zero MPH position and the cart will safely coast to a stop.  AutoLock will then engage and the cart will be secure.
  • No open gears, belts, or hot components – The design of the cart keeps hands safe and prevents possible burns caused by hot engine components.
  • Tested Over Time – Overland Cart has been developing and building carts for 10 years.  We know our carts and have developed them to be as safe as possible.

Good morning, may i know till which inclination this machin can work? And one more, will the tires leave any trace over concrete if used in high temperatures enviroments

Hi Damiano, we rate our carts at 500 pounds for a 1:3 slope (18 degrees). We have not tested our carts in extremely high temperatures but we have tested the carts in 90-100 degree days and have not had any issue with tires leaving a trace over concrete.

Hello Jeremy , one more question. our maximum inclination will be 22-23 degrees. and I believe that the maximum loading will be 500 pounds, but we can also reduce to 400 pounds. we are dealing with a gangway that change his inclination with the tide, according to the specification, we can change the loading…
Do you many have other model that can have better performance with this kind of inclination?
Thanks for your help
Kind regards

Damiano

Hi Damiano, your described application would be beyond the recommended limits of the cart as it is currently built. As a note, There is a built in overload fuse that measures the inputs of the drive system in real time. If the incline, load, or terrain begins to overwork the motor, a fuse will stop the cart and prevent any damage to the transaxle. This feature would allow you to find a weight that works with your incline without harming the differential. We do not currently offer a higher performance model.

So this means that can work with higher inclinations, and using the “fuse built in” we can discover the maximum loading related to the current inclination ?

One more question, how we can order if we are located in Oman?

Yes, the fuse allows you to understand how the cart is responding to each unique circumstance. We do accept international orders, however, it is required for the customer to arrange freight. Please contact us for more information: https://store.graniteind.com/contact-us

I’m interested in purchasing the wagon to haul a 10’x10’, tent, chairs and a cooler to the beach. Will the tires stand up to the soft sand? If caught out in the rain, are the wagon controls water resistant?

Hi Tim, We have not done extensive testing at this point on soft sand. We have tested the Easy Wagons on loose rocks an the cart has performed well. The controls and electrical components are water resistant but not waterproof. We recommend keeping the cart stored indoors or out of the elements outdoors. If the cart would get caught in the rain we would recommend allowing the cart to dry off indoors before the next use. Hi, I’m from NJ and due to Super Storm Sandy the beach has been widened considerably and tall dunes have been put in place. Taking the beach stuff and kids stuff up and over the dues and down to the water is a hike. Will any of your products work in this environment? If not, you really need to consider this application as the dune projects is being done up and down the shore area. Thanks

Hi Ted, thanks for contacting us! We have received similar requests in the past and are looking into an option that would work on dunes. We will keep you in the loop on our latest carts.

HELLO WHAT IS THE SPEED ON AN INCLINE WITH A FULL LOAD

Support
Jeremy Rupp
28 days 10 hours ago

Hi Ben, the speed will depend on the incline, the terrain and the load. As a general rule the wagon will have the fastest speed on hard surfaces such as asphalt or cement and be slower on grass. Inclines do affect the overall speed but the cart will still move at a good pace even when loaded. If you have more specific questions feel free to contact us at: 877-447-2648 or via email: support@graniteind.com

HELLO HOW DOES IT HANDLES OVER SNOW

Support
Jeremy Rupp
28 days 10 hours ago

Hi Ben, the Easy Wagon would do just fine going through light snow on hard surfaces. We wouldn’t recommend going through deep snow. We do offer a 4WD version of the Easy Wagon that we would recommend if you were going through snow and up and down inclines on a regular basis. Please contact us for more info: 877-447-2648 or via email: support@graniteind.com
